Cloud Engineer
We are a young startup with solid funding in a technically challenging domain space and we are looking for a solid Cloud Engineer. This is an opportunity to get involved at an early point of developing and rolling out a new SaaS platform, and as such, we need allrounders that can build across the stack as well as lay the foundations for good DevOps processes. Our aim is to keep building our high quality international team.

We want engineers that can work in an agile environment, alongside a dynamic, multi-skilled multi-national team of Engineers, Developers and QA’s, to firstly help implement the cloud-based environment and secondly provide 24/7 operational support, including incident and stakeholder management for various systems and applications.
We need engineers that do not put themselves in silos, and who are capable of picking up the skills they need to solve the problem end to end. You can design and implement systems, processes and infrastructure deployments for the successful running of business platforms.
We are looking for someone that can use technical analysis to resolve of a diverse range of incidents impacting live services. Initiate the response to service disruption, and support proactive measures aimed at preventing recurrence.
We believe in using a diverse range of monitoring tools to identify and diagnose complex service impacting issues across a range of technologies and platforms.
We need Cloud Engineers who realise that logging all incidents accurately and documenting all investigative activities, will ascertain the nature of the fault and remedial action taken.

**Desired Skill set:**
– Solid experience with SaaS products.
– Solid experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Azure).
– Solid experience with variety of DB technologies.
– Experience with virtualization, containers and container orchestration.
– CI/CD pipelines
– Infrastructure as Code
– Source control using Git with Bitbucket
– Monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, Grafana)
– Worked with development projects or development teams
– Comfortable working in an AGILE fast-paced environment with small teams
